Chinese Take Out

Conceived by artist Jason Bailer Losh for Art in General, Chinese Take Out was an art exhibition that investigated the complicated notion of home and the transient modern condition of place faced by many immigrants. Images and artifacts were removed from participating New York City Chinatown restaurants, and in exchange, each received a new commissioned artwork, created for specifically for that location. In collaboration with Jason Bailer Losh, I designed a responsive website to help viewers learn about the project, the participating artists and each location. By using the Google Maps API we made sure that everyone was able to find each piece of art and easily navigate from location to location.
